Show Description

The first available show, recorded 10th November 2001. Ricky messes up his normally professional film review, this weeks film is Disney’s Jungle book. Steve gets upset when hearing a tramp talking about having a girlfriend, Karl kicks him when he’s down.

Photographers from X-Ray magazine are in the studio which reminds Ricky and Steve of their unfortunate looks. The makers of lifts, Schindler, are discussed, Steve wonders if it’s the same guy from Schindler’s List.

Which member of the fall is now a Radio 1 DJ is this weeks competion, Steve describes the wild night which lays ahead of him.

Karl is livid about something but doesn’t explain why. Clairvoyant Mystic Meg is ridiculed by Ricky and Steve. There are rude words and innuendo aplenty after the question “what is the only bird without a penis?” is asked.

Steve stays up late to watch some male strippers and tells some local radio anecdotes. Ricky’s now apparently world famous film review this week is Rainman, Steve sees the irony.

The White Stripes version of Jolene is played which leads Ricky to ask Karl to give his thoughts on the song, as a result we get an early taste of Karl’s idiocy.
